We’re searching for a compassionate, skilled SEND Teacher to join an outstanding SEMH provision in South Shields. This role is all about connection—helping pupils manage emotions, re-engage with learning, and rediscover confidence in themselves.
You’ll:
1. Plan creative, flexible lessons that meet individual needs
2. Work closely with support staff and therapists
3. Use restorative and relational approaches to behaviour
4. Bring positivity to every interaction—especially the tricky ones
Experience in SEMH or PRU settings is a real bonus, but we welcome applications from teachers with a strong interest in SEND and a willingness to learn.
