TARCG is working on behalf of a leading UK-based aviation maintenance organisation to recruit an experienced Base Manager with a B1.3 License. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled rotary engineer to step into a leadership role at a well-established and growing maintenance base in the Staverton area.
You will be joining a high-performing, safety-focused team that operates in a professional and collaborative environment. The organisation values excellence, innovation, and a commitment to quality, offering the chance to work on a range of rotary aircraft in a well-equipped and scenic location.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead daily maintenance operations and ensure smooth workflow across the base
* Certify aircraft maintenance tasks within your scope of authorisation
* Produce and communicate clear engineering reports to senior management
* Carry out line and base maintenance both on-site and off-site as required
* Supervise and support engineering and technical staff
* Ensure full compliance with UK CAA, EASA, and other relevant aviation regulations
* Collaborate with internal departments to maintain efficient operations
* Maintain all Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements
* Utilise Microsoft-based systems for documentation and reporting
Candidate Requirements:
* UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 License
* Type rating on Bell 206 preferred (type training may be provided for the right candidate)
* Evidence of recent experience on rotary aircraft
* Right to live and work in the UK
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
