Purchase Ledger Clerk | £28,000- £30,000 | Tyldesley | Employee Bonus Scheme | 25 Days plus Bank Holidays Axon Moore is working in partnership with a fast-growing business based in Tyldesley who have had an excellent period of trading over the past 12 months and are searching for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk who is looking to take ownership for the Accounts Payable processes and add value to the business. In this role, you will ensure that supplier invoices, employee expenses, and other outgoing payments are processed accurately and in line with company policies and procedures. You will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and the finance department to reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and support month-end activities. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Processing of purchase ledger invoices Purchase ledger cash postings Processing credit card transactions/expenses Setting up new suppliers Supplier statement reconciliations Sending invoices internally for approval and approving on the system ready for payment Managing the accounts payable mailbox, supplier calls and other supplier queries Any other finance related transactional postings Required Skills and Experience: 2 years’ experience within a similar finance role An ability to meet deadlines and efficiently prioritise workload Proficient in Microsoft Excel Positive and can-do attitude with an enthusiastic approach to work An...
