Overview

Are you someone who loves solving problems, supporting colleagues, and improving the systems people rely on every day? If you want to be part of a team delivering exciting technology changes across the organisation, you'll feel right at home here.

You'll be joining a friendly, collaborative team where your ideas and suggestions will help shape how we work. This is a full time Monday to Friday role, with flexibility to work from our head office and from home. Occasional out-of-hours work to support system changes or project activity will be needed.

This year, we were officially ranked as such by Great Place to Work UK recognising us as not only one of the UK's Best Workplaces, but also one of the Best Workplaces for Wellbeing and for Women. We want you to be happy, healthy and supported, both in and out of work.

We're Nottingham Community Housing Association, known to many as NCHA. We've been around since 1973, and we're really proud of that. We're more than just a housing association: we deliver care and support to people all over the East Midlands. Read our story to find out more about us.

* Log, investigate and resolve incidents and requests, liaising with external suppliers where needed.
* Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes and procedures.
* Work with the Service Desk Trainer to deliver training on new and existing applications.
* Provide occasional cover for the Technology Service Desk.

Qualifications

* Experience in an IT support environment or supporting a core line-of-business application.
* Strong IT skills and a problem-solving mindset.
* Clear, confident communication with colleagues at all levels.
* Good attention to detail and familiarity with call-logging systems.
* A collaborative approach and a willingness to learn.
* Knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft Office, TCP/IP/network principles or Citrix is helpful, but not essential.
