Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Ashton. This role will involve providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs, alongside general classroom assistance.
The Role
* Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs
* Assist the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
* Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience working with children with SEN
* A degree or relevant qualification (desirable)
* A patient, supportive, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Essential Requirements
* An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply(DBS cost refunded after 20 days worked)
* A full 10-year employment/education history
* At least two professional references (including your most recent employer)
* Legal right to work in the UK
