Principal AI Consultant – Contract - Hybrid (Warrington) 6 Months
Duration: Initial 6 months
Contract Type: Contract
Rate: Up to £600 per day

Our client is seeking a Principal AI Consultant to lead a strategic AI enablement programme within a 15-person engineering team. This role requires a hands-on approach and a proven track record in embedding AI-first strategies in product and engineering environments.
Responsibilities:
* Coach, mentor, and upskill engineering teams on AI tools and workflows
* Drive the feasibility and delivery of AI-led product features (30%)
* Act as the internal champion for AI – trusted advisor, educator, enabler
* Collaborate with engineering leadership and senior management
Requirements:
* Experience guiding businesses through AI adoption
* Strong software development background, preferably in Microsoft technologies
* Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, Azure/M365, and LLMs
* Excellent communication and coaching skills
* Pragmatic, consultative, and inspiring approach
