You Recruitment are working on behalf of a well-established and fast-growing company who are a major player in their industry. With over 200 users and a busy IT environment, they’re looking to bring on an IT Help Desk Support to provide essential 1st and 2nd line support across the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for IT support and a strong desire to grow within a hands-on, supportive team.
Location: This is an onsite role, Monday - Friday 8am-5pm near their site situated not far from Margate, Kent
What does the role involve?
Delivering 1st and 2nd line support to end users across desktop, network, and business systems
Managing helpdesk tickets and ensuring timely resolution of issues
Installing, maintaining, and upgrading IT hardware and software
Setting up and removing user accounts in line with company policies
Maintaining accurate asset and support documentation
Participating in a weekend support rota (typically 1 in 4)
What we’re looking for:
Experience in an IT support role (ideally 1st/2nd line in a busy environment)
Working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service focus
Ability to explain technical issues in simple terms
Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving
A flexible, team-oriented mindset with a genuine interest in emerging technologies
