We are partnered with one of the UKs leading suppliers in the construction industry, supporting their search for a new Key Account Director.
With over 20 years in the industry and loyal clients who are household names - the business is leading a sustainable growth curve, and is looking for an ambitious and energetic sales professional to make a big impact.

Key Responsibilities -
* Full ownership of all priority accounts - ensuring that each client receives a world class service whilst driving all operational development of construction solutions.
* Work closely with key stakeholders to design and develop the account development plan, ensuring a solid pipeline of propositions.
* Identifying and build relationships with Tier 1 house builders and manufacturers.
* Ensure the delivery of all services agreed are to the highest standard.
* Support the Sales Managers with their professional development, analysing their accounts and identifying further commercial opportunities.
* Build and sustain trusted relationships with Tier 1 construction firms - maximising client relationships.
* Focus on innovation and sharing best practice.
* Report and analyse trends, using this to build your business strategy and influence key stakeholders.
To Be Successful -
* High levels of emotional intelligence, with the ability to work across all levels of the business.
* Experience managing relationships with Tier 1 construction companies.
* Demonstrable experience successfully managing key accounts, selling into your specialist industry in a B2B environment.
* The ability to adapt and think outside of the box.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with ability to learn new software and systems.
* Willing to travel to other sites and meet clients as needed.
* To have strong analytical problem-solving skills, strong time-management skills, and the ability to organise, coordinate and prioritise competing priorities.
Located ideally near London to cover the South region - however open to location for the right person.
In return, a base salary up to £80,000 with generous bonus and commission structure + additional benefits.
