Some travel to Nationwide Services will also be required Salary: £24,810 (FTE £41,350) Hours: 24 hrs per week (flexible on hours per day/number of days per week). *Please note that while core hours are 24 per week, there may be the need for additional (paid) hours to be worked during peak recruitment times this will include July/August due to onboarding of education roles for September starts* A fantastic new opportunity has been created for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a growing in?house service supporting specialist education and care settings across the UK. About the Role Youll be part of a small, developing Occupational Health team, providing expert advice to support both new starters and existing employees. With the service recently brought in?house, this is an exciting time to join youll help shape processes, influence best practice and ensure colleagues receive high?quality, compassionate support. This is a home?based role, with one day per month required in the central office (Gloucester) and occasional travel to services nationwide. Key Responsibilities Reviewing pre?employment health questionnaires and advising on candidate suitability Completing Occupational Health assessments and coordinating referrals to specialist providers Supporting risk assessments and contributing to decisions around fitness for role Advising on reasonable adjustments, Access to Work processes and specialist equipment Producing clear, high?quality written reports and follow?up recommendations Working closely with the Lead Occupational Health Advisor to enhance service delivery Supporting staff with ongoing health needs in a balanced, professional and person?centred way About You Were looking for someone who can combine clinical expertise with strong communication and sound judgement. Youll bring: Registered Nurse status with Occupational Health experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Confidence managing sensitive or complex situations Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret information effectively Personal resilience and a calm, balanced approach Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team Flexibility to travel monthly to Gloucester and occasionally to services across the UK Experience within SEND or specialist education settings is beneficial, but full training will be provided.
