R&D Chemist
Location: Cheshire

Are you a skilled R&D chemist with a strong background in polymers and a passion for technical innovation? Our client, a global leader in the polymers market, is looking for a dynamic and hands-on R&D chemist to join their team and help develop their products further.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will be performing hands-on development of new polymer products. Key responsibilities include:
* Lead technical projects and development of new products.
* Plan and conduct laboratory and pilot plant trials of newly developed products.
* Keep up to date with evolving market needs.
* Prepare documentation, reports and reviews to ensure project progression is consistent and compliance is met.
* Liaise with other departments to act as a point of technical information and support.
What You’ll Bring
Essential
* Degree educated in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Proven experience within the polymer industry (3-5 years minimum).
* Demonstrable experience and understanding of polymer synthesis.
Desirable
* Understanding of polyurethane products and their applications.
