We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected law firm who are seeking a proactive and experienced Legal Secretary to join their busy Corporate transactional team in Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional, supportive environment while contributing to a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, governance, reorganisations, and restructures. In this fast-paced and client-focused role, you will provide essential secretarial and administrative support to senior fee earners.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Comprehensive diary management, arranging meetings, calls, travel, and events, and general administrative support
2. Direct liaison with both French- and English-speaking clients (fluency in both languages is essential, written and spoken)
3. Preparation for meetings, including preparation of pitches and presentations
4. Producing financial reports and support fee earners with the billing process
5. Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues across the business
About You:
6. Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written)
7. Experienced in administration or client support within professional services (legal, property, conveyancing, or similar)
8. Proven skills in Excel and PowerPoint
9. Highly organised with an eye for detail
10. A clear communicator who can manage multiple priorities with discretion
11. Adaptable, professional, and client-focused
12. Calm under pressure, resilient and proactive
