Job Description
3. Plan and schedule day-to-day repairs, void works, and major repairs
4. Manage damp & mould cases and ensure compliance with health standards
5. Raise and close work orders accurately using housing management systems
6. Liaise with contractors and internal teams to ensure timely completion
7. Provide excellent customer support and resolve queries professionally
8. Monitor progress and update systems to reflect job status
9. Occasional travel to different sites every couple of months
The Successful Applicant
A successful Repairs Planning Officer should have:
10. Proven experience in social housing repairs planning or scheduling
11. Strong organisational and IT skills (housing management systems experience)
12. Excellent communication and customer service skills
13. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
14. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in property management.
15. Self-starter with ability to manage workload independently
16. Knowledge of voids, damp & mould, and major repairs processes
