SIA Tutor – Adult Education We are seeking a motivated SIA Tutor to join our Skills and Employment Team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of adult learning and vocational training, particularly in the field of Security Industry Authority (SIA) qualifications. As an SIA Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering accredited training programmes, primarily focused on preparing learners for roles within the private security industry. This includes courses such as Door Supervision, CCTV Operations, and Security Guarding, up to and including Level 2. You may also contribute to wider curriculum areas such as Employability Skills, Health and Safety, Conflict Management, and Customer Service, depending on learner needs. We are looking for a candidate with: Proven experience in delivering SIA-related qualifications. A strong understanding of the regulatory and compliance requirements of SIA training. The ability to engage and support adult learners from diverse backgrounds. Experience in planning and delivering high-quality learning programmes that promote progression into employment or further training. You will be involved in the design, delivery, and assessment of learning programmes that support social regeneration, increase community engagement, and promote learner progression. All provision must embed equality and diversity, uphold British values, and maintain a high standard of teaching and learning. Delivery will take place across the borough, including Skills and Employment Hubs, community venues, and other outreach locations. Flexibility and a learner-centred approach are essential.
