Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client; an established manufacturing firm based in Southend-Sea for an Accounts Assistant.
The role entails (but is not limited to):
* Processing invoicing and dealing with supplier queries.
* Ensuring all invoices are paid on time and preparing post-sales invoicing.
* Assisting with credit control where needed.
* Daily reconciliations with the bank.
* Assisting with payroll and all relating tasks.
* Other tasks relevant to the financial management of the company.
A successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience using an accounting system such as Sage or Xero.
* Experience working within an internal accounts department.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
* Ability to work alone and part of a team.
The salary for this position is set at £25,000 per annum
