Full-Time Nursery Practitioner – Forest Hill, South East London Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Ad hoc basis TeacherActive is seeking caring and dedicated Nursery Practitioners to join a warm and welcoming nursery in Forest Hill, South East London. About the Role: As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be an essential part of the team, working closely with children aged 0–5 years to support their learning and development through play and structured activities. Your daily responsibilities will include: Supporting children’s emotional, physical, and intellectual development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework Assisting with planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and social skills Providing a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and confidence Observing and recording children’s progress and sharing insights with senior staff and parents Helping with daily routines such as mealtimes, toileting, and rest periods with sensitivity and care Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure consistent and effective care and learning experiences Supporting the nursery’s safeguarding policies and maintaining high standards of health and safety You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with the children and their families, making a positive impact on their early education journey.
