Overview:
The role of Maintenance Technician provides site support to both preventative and reactive site maintenance with an ongoing effort to eliminate faults and variation within our processes and deliver right first time products.
Mandatory Responsibilities

Role Responsibilities
5. Carry out daily planned and unplanned duties to service and repair foiling lines and aluminium finishing plant as instructed by the Engineering Manager
6. Carry out planned compliance activities and maintain relevant documentation and records to ensure adherence to legal requirements.
7. Respond to machinery breakdowns as and when they occur, prioritised by production requirements and allotted work schedule.
8. Carry out planned repairs to site and plant equipment as required to manufacturers’ standards
9. Complete allotted tasks in a timely and safe fashion to maximise factory output and minimise downtime.
10. Record all required information and update technical documentation for all operations as per company works instructions/procedures.
11. Alert relevant people to process and engineering concerns and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
12. Agree and complete training and development requirements as determined by the Engineering Services Manager and the training plan.
13. Transfer the knowledge and skills among the team (others).
14. Correct use and safeguarding of property issued by the company.
15. Ensure workplace is clean and tidy – all housekeeping procedures followed, associated with tasks.
16. Creation / updating of standard operating procedures and risk assessments
17. Undertake other reasonable duties as and when required.
