Veterinary Receptionist role at IVC Evidensia
Overview
Miramar Vets are seeking a reliable and professional Receptionist to join our team. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, be proficient in office tasks, and possess strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
* Greet visitors professionally and courteously.
* Prioritise and address client enquiries promptly by phone and in person.
* Provide excellent customer service in a professional, sympathetic, and courteous manner.
* Record and follow up on enquiries; add new client details into the system and update vaccine/contact information during visits or calls.
* Verify invoices for accuracy and make necessary adjustments.
* Secure follow-up appointments to complete treatment plans and reschedule missed appointments.
* Promote the Pet Health Club and pet insurance.
* Maintain a clean and tidy reception area; adhere to all practice and reception policies for excellent client service.
* Administrative duties including booking appointments, processing payments, handling cash exchanges, and end-of-day banking.
* Attend reception meetings, keep client records updated, manage clinic emails, and handle incoming/outgoing mail.
* Complete Pet Health Club applications and perform other duties as required by the practice.
Shift pattern
Working Mondays 08:30-18:30, Tuesdays 08:30-16:30, and Fridays 08:30-18:30, with an unpaid lunch break on all three days and some Saturday mornings participation.

Salary: Up to £15,927.90 DOE
