Role Summary

The Tissue Viability (TV) Service provides specialist clinical expertise in the assessment and care planning of patients with complex wounds, staff education, policy development, and guidance on pressure ulcer prevention. The service also delivers care to external organisations, including Care Homes, Children and Family Health Devon, Devon Partnership Trust (DPT), and GP practices.

We are seeking an Assistant Practitioner / Nursing Associate to support the North Tissue Viability nursing team. The post holder will undertake delegated aspects of tissue viability care for which they have been trained and assessed as competent.

The role involves supporting specialist wound care delivery across acute, community, and external settings, contributing to pressure ulcer prevention, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. The post holder will work at all times under the guidance and supervision of a registered practitioner.

Comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided.

Working Pattern:37.5 Hours per week. 8-4 Monday - Friday
