Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal (Wymondham Branch)
Salary up to £75,000 DOE, Welcome Bonus up to £5,000 plus Relocation Allowance up to £5,000.
Overview
We are on the lookout for a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our Wymondham branch, a modern, purpose‑built practice that is part of a close‑knit group of five well‑established sites across Norfolk.
Key Responsibilities
* Consultation of dogs and cats with a balanced mix of 75 % consultations and 25 % surgeries.
* Perform a range of surgical procedures from neuters and dentals to complex cases such as lump removals, laparotomies, BOAS, TECA and orthopaedic procedures.
* Work up cases in‑house wherever possible, tailoring workload to individual strengths and interests.
* See small exotic species including rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and occasionally birds or rodents; support expansion of exotics services.
* Participate in team collaboration, shared learning across the Chapelfield group and clinical rounds.
Qualifications & Experience
Registered Veterinary Surgeon (PVET, DVL, DBVM or equivalent). Experience in small‑animal surgery and a willingness to pursue specialist certificates is desirable.
