About the role
Our client is growing and looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in day-to-day warehouse and manufacturing operations.
What you’ll be doing
* Overseeing goods in and despatch processes
* Coordinating deliveries: checking, booking in, labelling, and storage
* Preparing finished goods and materials for shipment
* Supporting waste management and recycling processes
* Ensuring health & safety and quality standards are met daily
* Working closely with the manufacturing team to meet deadlines
* Loading/unloading and storing goods safely
* Managing stock, despatch notes, and warehouse systems
* Carrying out equipment checks and maintaining records
* Supporting stock takes and off-site storage coordination
* Occasional delivery of goods to suppliers, storage sites, or customers
What we’re looking for
* Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
* Strong understanding of goods in/out processes and health & safety
* Forklift licence and full, clean driving licence
* Good attention to detail and organisation skills
* Confident communicator and team player
* Able to multitask and solve problems in a busy setting
Desirable (but not essential)
* Experience with SAGE 200
* Background in packaging or manufacturing
* Mechanical awareness or machinery experience
