The Role
As a Residential Property Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. Typical responsibilities will include:
* Handling all aspects of residential property transactions including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, new build transactions, and transfers of equity.
* Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, and other legal documentation.
* Carrying out property searches and title checks, and reporting on findings to clients.
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to ensure smooth and timely progress of transactions.
* Providing clear, client-focused advice and maintaining strong professional relationships.
* Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and firm procedures.
About You
* A qualified solicitor with experience in residential conveyancing.
* Strong technical knowledge of property law and conveyancing processes.
* Excellent organisational skills, able to manage a busy caseload effectively.
* Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach.
* A team player with the ability to work independently when required.
