Overview
We are looking for an electrically-biased Maintenance Engineer for one of our long-standing clients based near Wigan. My client is a global manufacturer and have been operating in the area for over 100 years. An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join this great company on their 4-shift rota. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation on all production equipment, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of the manufacturing process.
Maintenance Engineer Benefits
* £50,000 - £55,400 (DOE)

Maintenance Engineer Duties
* Monday - Friday (8am - 4pm / 6am - 2pm / 10pm - 6am / 2pm - 10pm) – 4-week rotation
* Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on electrical and electromechanical equipment
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement solutions to enhance equipment reliability
* Work safely and in compliance with industry standards and health and safety regulations
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize plant performance
Maintenance Engineer Requirements
* Recognised Engineering Qualifications
* Electrically qualified
* Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC experience
* Ability to read electrical schematics
* VSD experience
* Strong electrical fault finding
