Our Spalding site has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Shift Supervisor to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Salary: £30,807 - £34,000 per annum.
Working hours: 4 on 4 off, 6pm-6am.
The purpose of a Warehouse Shift Supervisor is to lead a team, ensuring good productivity, picking accuracy, and the overall performance of the warehouse is achieved to meet customer and company service levels.
Key Duties of a Warehouse Shift Supervisor:
* Supervise warehouse staff to ensure that warehouse disciplines are maintained.
* Be responsible for achieving daily KPIs to meet targets and dispatch requirements.
* Ensure all operatives are trained in warehouse disciplines of picking and arrange retraining as necessary.
* Maintain company standards of hygiene and housekeeping, taking action where standards are not met.
* Enforce Company Health & Safety Rules and report issues according to company procedures.
* Identify procedures or systems that could be improved to minimize errors and maximize staff productivity.
* Manage daily team issues, including holiday authorizations, cover arrangements, timekeeping, and absence monitoring, including completing daily timesheets.
* Handle performance issues in liaison with Warehouse Managers and HR.
Qualifications:
* Operational experience within an FMCG warehouse environment.
* FLT Licence.
* A good standard of education including Maths at GCSE level or equivalent qualifications.
* Good knowledge of MS Office – Word and Excel.
* Ability to work under pressure both as part of a team and independently.
* Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
* Attention to detail and thoroughness.
