We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Unqualified Preschool Nursery Assistant to join our team in our Pre-school Room! The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. As a Preschool Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, supporting their development and learning through engaging activities.
Duties
* Assist in the planning and implementation of daily activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development in children.
* Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Communicate effectively with children, encouraging them to express themselves and develop their language skills.
* Support the lead nursery staff in managing the classroom environment, maintaining cleanliness and organisation.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a welcoming atmosphere.
* Assist with basic administrative tasks related to children's records and progress reports.
* Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills in childcare.
Experience
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to facilitate clear communication with children and parents.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for potential off-site activities or outings.
* Demonstrated ability to engage with children creatively and supportively.
