Internal Sales Engineer - Mechanical Engineering
I’m looking for a driven and technically‑minded Internal Sales Engineer to join a growing sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of customer support, technical sales, and engineering know‑how.
As part of the internal sales department, you’ll be instrumental in delivering responsive, high‑quality support to customers while helping the business grow in key markets.
What the Role Involves:
* Responding to customer enquiries with detailed, tailored technical and commercial quotations.
* Working closely with external sales team to identify and pursue new opportunities.
* Managing the full order process — from initial enquiry to quote submission and follow‑up.
* Maintaining project database and CRM system with up‑to‑date information.
* Supporting customers by providing clear, accurate information
What We’re Looking For:
* A background in Mechanical Engineering
* Experience in a sales or customer focused role
* Mechanical engineering qualification (Degree, HND, or equivalent).
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* A proactive, organised, and customer‑focused approach to work.
* Great communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Salary to £45k doe
