Assembler
Location: Didcot
Salary: £34,000 £38,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:30pm
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Were looking for experienced Assemblers to help bring these advanced systems to life. You'll be hands-on with the mechanical and electrical assembly of compact, high-performance systems, playing a vital role in the development, testing, and refinement of next-generation technologies.
What Youll Be Doing as an Assembler:
Assembling mechanical and electrical components
Assisting in test setups, instrumentation, and data collection
Conducting inspections and troubleshooting
Collaborating with engineers on quality and process improvement
Maintaining production records, inventory, and purchasing logs
Driving improvements in safety, efficiency, and cost
What Were Looking For as an Assembler:
Essential:
Solid experience with mechanical assembly
Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality systems
Desirable:
Experience in a production/manufacturing environment
Background in scaling up assembly systems or manufacturing facilities
Familiarity with drafting SOPs and improving manufacturing processes
