Finance Business Partner - London Market - Salary circa £85,000 DOE
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the finance team, business partnering our GCS business (Global, Corporate and Specialty) within UKGI (General Insurance) Commercial Lines. It's an exciting time to join with a significant growth and transformation journey ahead.

A bit about the job:
The main focus of the team and role is to provide financial support and robust challenge to the GCS business. You will work closely with the business to drive performance and growth, including:
* Acting as the primary Finance point of contact for certain lines of business, covering all financial matters in these areas.
* Financial and business planning and forecasting, directly involved in shaping business strategy with our GCS teams.
* Driving performance management of the GCS business, including decision support on deals, transformation, strategy, and proactive analysis to identify opportunities and support plan delivery.
* Supporting the GI finance transformation programme to enable the finance function to be best in class, highly efficient, and focused on value addition.
* Representing GCS Finance at key meetings such as quarterly deep dives, planning sessions, Senior Leadership meetings, valuation meetings, etc.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
* Strong financial understanding of General Insurance P&L accounts and reporting measures.
* Background in commercially focused finance roles, with FP&A and business partnering experience preferred.
* Commercial foresight and understanding of the Insurance business, with familiarity in the London Market/Corporate & Specialty sector.
* A relevant accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
* Knowledge of modelling and analytical tools.
