A leading manufacturer are seeking the right individual to join their warehousing team as a Dispatch Team Member. The Warehouse Worker will be joining a warm and friendly team, where training opportunities and development opportunities are available. The purpose of this Warehouse Worker vacancy is to effectively and efficiently process packing orders, whilst documenting processed shipments.

Ideal candidate background
* Experience of working within a warehouse environment
* Picking and packing experience
* Computer literate to a basic level of excel
* Quality focused with good attention to detail and excellent accuracy.
* Organised and efficient.
* Willingness to obtain a forklift licence
Warehouse Operative (Despatch Team)
Key responsibilities include:
* Picking and packing of goods for dispatch, ensuring all packages are of sufficient quality to arrive safely at their destination
* Pallet wrapping when required
* Provision of accurate weights and dimensions for despatch
* Loading collections, including use of fork-lift (once license is obtained), and ensuring all collections are correctly labelled, given to the drivers, and all paperwork signed for
* Stock location of finished parts from production to shelf and stock rotation
* Assist with the yearly stock take when required
* Stock re-location to shelf
* Control of traceability system
* Despatch desk and liaising with office if required.
* Conduct regular cycle counts.
