Job Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Preston. Lancashire (On Site)
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per year (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm + Overtime
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Our client have over 30 years of expertise and experience in the commercial vehicle sales and acquisitions and due to their success and growth they are now looking for a Marketing Manager to be based from their head office in Preston.
About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and driven Marketing Manager to elevate the visibility and success of our used commercial vehicle brands, including a newly launched LCV business.
This is a hands-on, creative, and fast-paced role where you’ll shape marketing output across digital, social, and traditional channels. If you’re passionate about automotive marketing and thrive on producing eye‑catching content that drives engagement, this role is for you.
Previous marketing experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Advertising
• Capture high‑quality images of trucks, trailers, and LCVs for online advertising.
• Produce detailed specification sheets using provided templates.
• Create compelling sales adverts using imagery and spec sheets.
• Upload and manage adverts across the company website, advertising partners, and social media platforms.
• Ensure all online stock is accurate, up to date, and visually appealing.
Social Media & Campaign Management
• Develop and execute social media strategies for both business divisions.
• Manage content across TikTok, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
• Produce short‑form video, graphics, and professional imagery to boost brand visibility.
• Plan and deliver marketing campaigns across digital and print channels.
Collaboration & Administration
• Liaise with account managers to maximise advertising performance and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain website accuracy, including pricing updates and removal of sold stock.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and measurable results.
• Confidently navigate both Windows and Mac systems, using creative and productivity tools effectively.
• Carry out additional duties as required by management.
What our client is Looking For:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital marketing and marketing roles (essential).
• Experience within the automotive or commercial vehicle industry (highly desirable).
• Strong creative ability with a sharp eye for detail.
• Excellent time management and the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
• Confident using Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, Canva, and similar tools.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Ability to commute to Preston daily (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• Experience with Autotrader or similar platforms (1 year required).
