Role Overview:
We are looking for a talented, ambitious Student Recruitment and Events Assistant to support our recruitment strategies by engaging with prospective students globally, representing GIS at events, and building strong relationships with our audiences. You’ll help execute recruitment campaigns, manage our CRM system, drive student engagement across communication platforms, and ensure the seamless delivery of student recruitment events, providing administrative support and logistical coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Qualification and Sales Funnel Management:
o Respond to enquiries from prospective students via email, phone, and social media, providing timely responses.
o Assess leads using agreed frameworks to ensure they meet criteria for further engagement.
o Build and nurture relationships with prospective students through targeted email and phone campaigns, providing information about courses, admissions, scholarships, and university life.
o Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate information on prospective students, tracking their journey from initial contact to application.
* Events:
o Assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering recruitment events such as open days, webinars, school visits, and campus tours.
o Support logistical arrangements for in-person and virtual events, ensuring smooth execution.
o Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to meet event requirements.
o Represent GIS at virtual and in-person events, including recruitment fairs and webinars.
o Assist in recruiting, training, and managing student ambassadors.
* Communication and Engagement:
o Create and distribute promotional materials, including digital content, flyers, and invitations.
o Respond to inquiries from prospective students, parents, and educators with excellent customer service.
* Data Management and Reporting:
o Maintain CRM systems with accurate data on prospects and event attendees.
o Gather and analyze data from events and interactions to evaluate effectiveness and inform strategies.
* Administrative Support:
o Assist the Recruitment Team and Events Manager with administrative tasks.
o Manage event documentation, budgets, schedules, and attendee lists.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:

* University degree or relevant qualification, preferably in a related field.
* Knowledge and strong interest in sports, education, student recruitment, and event management.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
* Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proactive and adaptable approach.
* Experience in sports industry or education preferred.
* Experience in customer service or event coordination roles.
* Experience working towards targets or KPIs, with success in recruitment or sales roles.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and online event platforms.
