2-3 Months Contract with a Local Authority
Summary
* This role involves planning, leading, delivering, and evaluating internal communications campaigns that align with the council’s Strategic Plan. The position encompasses digital, marketing, events, and face-to-face communications, playing a crucial role in ensuring effective and culturally competent communication strategies.
Responsibilities
* Ensure communications are effective, data-driven, targeted, and culturally competent.
* Provide strategic communications advice to senior officers and service leads.
* Support staff engagement projects as directed by management.
* Generate content individually and collaboratively, including video, social media, and marketing materials.
* Collaborate with various services to ensure coordinated communication efforts aligned with the council’s mission.
* Support the delivery of major campaigns and provide advice to colleagues.
* Contribute content and ideas for council publications and digital channels.
Requirements
* Experience in delivering impactful communications across various channels.
* Proven experience in staff engagement and managing corporate issues.
* Ability to transform complex information into engaging and targeted content.
* Education in a related field is essential.

* Working hours: 35 hours per week
