Registered Manager (Children’s Residential)
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Manager to take full operational leadership of a children’s residential home. This is a senior role with responsibility for ensuring the highest standards of care in line with each child’s care plan, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
You will play a pivotal role in leading the team, driving improvement, and creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for young people with complex and challenging needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide effective leadership, supervision, and management of all staff including Deputies, Team Leaders, and Support Workers.

Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted requirements.
*
Oversee care planning, risk assessments, progress reviews, and referrals.
*
Monitor and enhance home performance using quality assurance systems and stakeholder feedback.
*
Build and maintain strong working relationships with external agencies and local authorities.
*
Manage staff rotas, resources, and provide on-call support as required.
*
Drive staff development through training, coaching, and mentoring.
*
Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and the emotional well-being of all residents.
Requirements:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in a relevant care setting (essential).
*
Proven experience managing residential care for children with complex needs.
*
Strong leadership, communication, and IT skills.
*
A genuine commitment to continuous improvement, safeguarding, and person-centred care.
