The Role:
We are seeking a newly qualified solicitor or second-year trainee to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about social justice and committed to representing vulnerable clients with diligence and care. You will work closely with experienced practitioners on a varied caseload, including:
* Asylum and human rights claims and appeals
* Family and private life applications
* Trafficking and modern slavery matters
* Complex nationality and statelessness cases
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage your own caseload under supervision, from initial instruction to conclusion.
* Draft detailed witness statements, legal submissions, and appeal bundles.
* Conduct legal research and stay up to date with evolving case law and Home Office policy.
* Attend tribunals and court hearings as appropriate.
About You:
* NQ solicitor or second-year trainee with demonstrable interest in immigration and asylum law.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Strong legal research, drafting, and organisational skills.
* Empathy, resilience, and commitment to access to justice.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small, dedicated team.
