We are working with an established energy organisation operating in a regulated environment to appoint a Sales Director to its senior leadership team.
This is a high-impact role with responsibility for leading commercial operation at scale, balancing profitable growth with strong margin discipline and modern commercial ways of working.
The Opportunity
This role sits on the senior leadership team and the Sales Director will:
* Lead and optimise a large commercial organisation
* Drive profitable growth while strengthening pricing discipline and customer portfolio quality
* Strengthen commercial discipline, enhance forecasting precision, and promote data-driven decision making. Shape and execute integrated sales and marketing strategies aligned to customer insight
* Display credible leadership, influencing at senior enterprise level cross functionally
* Role-model safety leadership.
This is a role where growth and improvement must run side by side maintaining commercial momentum while modernising the commercial engine.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a senior commercial leader who:
* Has operated at Sales Director / Commercial Director level within a complex organisation
* Has owned pricing, margin and revenue performance, not just top-line sales
* Is experienced in multi-channel commercial
* Has led and developed large teams
* Brings strong stakeholder management skills and the emotional intelligence to lead change effectively
* Is comfortable operating in regulated or operationally complex environments
Experience from Energy, Utilities, FMCG or adjacent sectors is welcomed. Sector background is less important than commercial capability, leadership maturity and credibility.
