If you haven't worked in care before, we will provide you with all the support required. When you first join Eden Futures, you will be paid for completing a comprehensive Induction Programme involving face-to-face training, e-learning, and shadowing experienced members of your team. For those new to care, we will make sure that you are given the support to complete your Care Certificate and gain a nationally recognized Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or relevant to your role, partnering with our provider company Paragon Skills.

*Roles are paid at an hourly rate of £12.21 per hour, approximately £26,720 annually based on a 42-hour working week. The salary shown is an annual equivalent for illustrative purposes only.

We are flexible regarding full or part-time hour contracts and will also consider candidates seeking Bank roles. Shifts can vary across days, nights, and weekends, offering flexibility to work around existing commitments.

Roles involving contact with our service users are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. Before joining, you will be required to have an Enhanced DBS Check. Further information will be provided during the telephone screening stage.

All pre-employment checks are carried out by our third-party provider, Adecco, as per our privacy notice.

It’s a criminal offence for individuals barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles requiring unsupervised work with vulnerable adults.

Main Responsibilities

* Support service users to lead a full and active life, respecting their wishes and individual support plans
* Support individuals to stay safe, safeguarding their welfare and protecting from abuse
* Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach
* Assist with social activities, manage finances and medication, support with practical tasks, personal care, hygiene, and healthcare
* Act as an informal contact for the service users' support network
* Report and record issues related to care and support to monitor wellbeing
* Comply with health and safety regulations and promote safety and welfare
* Maintain professional relationships and boundaries
* Follow organisational policies and procedures
* Demonstrate organisational values and behaviours
