The Technical Manager is responsible for delivering technical governance and performance in Region for all Costa platforms selling food & beverage sourced by Costa. So, why Costa? What you’ll do Being a Technical Manager (EMENA) is about so much more than bringing our coffee to the world. It’s your chance to stir up real success – which means you’ll: Responsible for co-ordinating and delivering the technical approval and monitoring of locally managed suppliers, escalating risk where appropriate to the Technical Line Manager, Procurement and Marketing Teams. Responsible for identification of Food Safety and Quality product risk and ensuring effective management to either, eliminate, mitigate, or escalate to the Technical Line Manager where appropriate. Manages supplier performance through Technical KPI reporting and targets, escalating where required to the Technical Line Manager, Procurement and Marketing team’s. Drives continual improvement of supplier standards through regular supplier reviews, development, implementation, and monitoring of improvement plans. Delivers seamless Campaign launches with new and renovated products. Responsible for product specification management and accuracy, conducting specification completeness and accuracy checks, specification status changes e.g., delist. Support EMENA Global Franchise Partners Assurance to maintain assured safety, legality and compliance to the Costa Quality Management System, the Costa Global Partner Technical Policy and associated processes.. Who you are It’s your unique ingredients we’re interested in: Food Safety & Quality management for related product category e.g., Dairy, Coffee, Savoury Ready to Eat, Cakes & pastries IS0 Lead auditor qualified Knowledge of Food Labelling Legislation Detailed understanding of Allergen management in Supply Chain and Stores. Formal training in risk assessment & risk management Strong influencing skills, verbal, written, communication and analytical skills Supplier Quality Management Location – Loudwater or London– Hybrid
