We are looking to expand our management team by recruiting another team manager to lead our service for our care experienced people. As the team manager you will be a qualified social worker registered with social care England. You will need to have a passion for what it is to be a corporate parent and supporting care experienced young people to reach their potential in all aspect of their lives. You will supervise a team of personal advisors who support young people aged 16-25 working closely with social workers who support our 16-18-year-old children as well as our partner agencies You will be expected to provide robust reflective supervision and be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the issues relevant to supporting care experienced people including unaccompanied asylum-seeking children. You will need to demonstrate a good working knowledge of safeguarding procedures and legislation and effective practice in this area At Knowsley Council we will consider requests for flexible working.
