A top-tier international law firm are looking for 2-4 PQE associate to join their financial services regulatory team in London.
About the Firm:
We are partnering with a highly-regarded US Law Firm who are recognised globally for advising on complex, high-value matters and operating at the forefront of the international legal market. The London office serves as a central hub for cross-border work, collaborating closely with colleagues across Europe, the US, and key emerging markets.
The team advises on a broad range of non-contentious financial regulatory matters relevant to the investment management and funds industry, alongside FCA investigations. On the advisory side, they are seeking someone with strong technical knowledge of the FCA Handbook, the FSMA framework, MiFID II, and AIFMD. There is also significant exposure to contentious work, with FCA enforcement matters currently accounting for around 40% of the team's overall practice.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified lawyer in England & Wales or Ireland
* 2-4 PQE
* Solid experience in contentious, advisory and transactional FS Reg
* Strong academic credentials
* Desire to work with a leaner team, and gain early autonomy
