Job Description:
Job Duties:
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
* Implement pre-prepared lesson plans effectively and manage classroom behaviour
* Adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs of students
* Provide feedback to the regular teacher on student progress and any issues encountered
* Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
Required Qualifications:
* PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education)
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills)
* PGDE (Postgraduate Diploma in Education)
Experience:
Prior experience working as a teacher or supply teacher is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Flexibility in adapting to different classroom environments
* Reliability and punctuality in meeting work commitments
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional training or certifications in specific subject areas
* Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
* Part-time or full-time hours, typically on a temporary basis
* Work in various schools within the North West England region
* Collaborate with school staff and follow school policies and procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
