What We Do:The IT Change Coordinator will support the operational IT change need within the business. GBS has implemented a number of new systems and the focus of this role is to lead the continual improvement of these systems.
About the Role:
* Enforce change management processes, ensuring that all changes are properly evaluated, prioritized, documented, and approved before implementation.
* Coordinate and facilitate the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meeting, working with delivery teams and key stakeholders to ensure that all changes are reviewed and approved based on their impact prior to implementation.
* Oversight of the Incident, Major Incident, Change, and Transition management processes
* Adopt ITIL best practices for incident, change, configuration and knowledgebase management.
* Manages End-user satisfaction, service improvement programs, escalation & complaint management based on end-user feedback.
About you:
* Degree in or equivalent qualification
* A minimum of two years’ experience delivering IT change management.
* Knowledge of project and change management methodologies, including ITIL.
* Knowledge of cloud-based Information Systems.
* Strong communication skills. Experience delivering training to large user groups and senior stakeholders.
* Good understanding of Microsoft systems and excellent general IT competence.
Desirable:
* Experience of delivering training for IT Systems.
* Knowledge of Higher Education.
* Knowledge of the Operations environment.
* End user training in a large corporate environment
