*Job Overview*An exciting opportunity has arisen at *The Dental Practice (Evesham) *We are looking for a fully *Qualified Dental Nurse* to join our friendly team.We are a well-established, predominantly private, busy, family practice based in the town of Evesham, Worcestershire. We are a friendly, supportive, professional & caring practice, fully computerised with SOE Exact software and digital x-rays.This role will be split between reception, admin and clinical duties and requires a blend of clinical skills, effective communication, and organisational abilities to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow within the practice.The ideal candidate should be a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse, well presented, have a warm and friendly nature with good communication skills, good organisational skills, a team player who will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services.The practice provides for all your CPD needs with both in house training by external trainer held at the practice (CPR and medical emergencies, fire training, safeguarding and mental capacity) and a vast number of CPD subjects that are available online through the agilio ilearn platform.*Duties** Perform high quality dental nursing whilst undertaking infection control duties, ensuring logs and checklists are maintained, and supporting the head nurse with planning rotas, people management, materials stock management and the development of Trainee Dental Nurses.* Provide clinical support to the dentist or hygienist during various dental procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.* Provide chairside support to patients, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns they may have during treatment and providing excellent patient care.* Sterilise and prepare dental instruments and equipment according to health and safety guidelines.* Ensure that all CQC requirements are met* Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, in compliance with data protection regulations.* Support the head nurse and provide cover for their role when required.* Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to optimise clinic operations.* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure an organised and efficient working environment.*Skills** Personable, positive and enthusiastic with a great customer focus and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills* The ability to work on your own initiative* Flexibility and the capability to work well with others* Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems effectively preferably with experience in SOE Exact software.* Experience in Implants desirable but not essential.* Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.* Proficient in English, with excellent verbal communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.* Must be GDC Registered.This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check as well as two satisfactory employment references.If you are passionate about providing outstanding dental care and possess the required skills, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as a Dental Nurse at our practice.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPay: From £13.00 per hourExpected hours: 38.25 per weekExperience:* Dental Nursing: 2 years (required)Licence/Certification:* GDC registration (required)Work Location: In person
