About the people and their home

People at Hook Lane enjoy doing the following activities - cinema, bowling, funfairs, panto, baking and exploring new adventures with different day trips. There are three young women and two young men here and we all have our own individual goals. Some include developing our daily life skills like cooking, cleaning, laundry etc.

Two of us regularly attend the local college twice a week and we really enjoy this. Two also attend local Mencap groups for physical activities such as tennis, walking and gardening.

Our team of support staff help and support us in having a fulfilling, happy and safe life. We enjoy opportunities both individually and as a group.

The people at Hook Lane take the lead on their support, making it person-centred to fit each individual's needs and wants.
