Associate - Employment Law - Cardiff - 5+ years PQE
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid & Flexible)

Salary: £65,000 to £85,000
Chadwick Nott are pleased to be working with a leading Welsh law firm in their search for an experienced Employment Law Associate to join their Employment & Immigration team in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within one of the largest employment and immigration teams in Wales, supporting a broad client base and collaborating with the firm\'s Corporate & Private Equity division.
The Role
This non-contentious role offers a varied and intellectually stimulating caseload. Responsibilities include:
* Advising clients on day-to-day employment law matters
* Supporting corporate transactions and restructures with employment law expertise
* Advising on TUPE and senior exits
* Collaborating with lawyers across the Employment & Immigration and Corporate teams
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team development
* Participating in business development initiatives
* Travelling regularly to Cardiff and occasionally to London for client meetings
Candidate Requirements
* This role is suited to an employment lawyer with:
* 5+ years PQE in employment law
* Experience in corporate support and TUPE/senior exits
* Strong technical and commercial awareness
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proven ability to manage time and solve problems effectively
* Confidence to work independently and collaboratively
* Interest in mentoring and line management
* Commitment to client service and relationship building
Working Arrangements
This role supports hybrid working, with flexibility to work between home and the Cardiff office.
