About the role
I am working with a well established, values-led professional services organisation that operates on a global scale.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a People Assistant to join their HR team. This role will provide high quality HR administration and support to employees, managers, and senior leaders.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong HR administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, service-focused environment and has a real passion for employee experience.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing HR administration support across employee lifecycle activities such as salary changes, promotions, family leave, and absences
2. Supporting new hire administration and onboarding processes
3. Preparing and maintaining people data reports
4. Working closely with payroll, pensions, benefits, and other internal stakeholders
5. Conducting exit interviews and supporting offboarding processes
6. Responding to queries relating to family-friendly policies and benefits, including first-line policy guidance
7. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the People function
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
8. Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within an HR or People function
9. A good understanding of HR administration across the employee lifecycle
10. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
11. Experience working with HR systems
12. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines
13. High attention to detail and a strong sense of confidentiality
14. Confident communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
15. A proactive mindset, comfortable challenging processes and suggesting improvements
16. A positive and adaptable approach to change
