The Company
Founded in 2006, our client who wok within the construction industry, has seen continuous year on year growth. They are now looking for a keen and enthusiastic Administrator to join their expending team.
This role is to cover the administration in a busy New Business/Construction Department. They are looking for a strong initiative-taking administrator.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Creating Enquiry files – manual and electronic
2. Keeping the work-based system updated
3. Liaising with Customers/Design/Estimating Engineers
4. Quote Acceptance
5. Setting up of Construction files paper and system
6. Completing energisation packs
7. Faults liaising with Project Manager, Teams, Clients & Civils
8. Preparing Fault Packs on database
9. Completing Fault Reports/ Minor works work packs to go to clients.
10. Raising Requisitions on sage, speaking to supplier to obtain material quotes.
11. Keeping Monitoring logs updated – Enquires, Faults & Minor works.
12. Attending Enquiry and Construction Meetings
13. Chasing Adoption agreements & Legal updates
14. Finalising files after the project end for archiving
15. Weekly work schedule with Project Manager `
The ideal candidate will come from a construction or utility background, but this not essential as training will be given. Must have good IT skills with a full knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong Organisational & Communication skills both verbal and written. Highly organised and detail-oriented. Possess a confident professional telephone manner and can work under pressure. Enjoys working as a part of a team.
