What You'll Be Doing
As an Events Coordinator, you'll play a key role in bringing events to life from concept to completion. You'll manage your own portfolio of events while also supporting the wider team on larger-scale projects. Your day-to-day will include:
1. Coordinating all aspects of event planning and delivery, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
2. Liaising with venues, suppliers, and contractors to ensure seamless execution
3. Designing and updating floor plans in collaboration with sales and technical teams
4. Managing event logistics including staffing, show guides, and contractor arrangements
5. Overseeing outsourced services such as security, traffic marshals, and temporary staff
6. Keeping exhibitor information up to date using the Ffair platform
7. Maintaining accurate records in CRM systems and contributing to team meetings
8. Supporting marketing and publishing teams with cross-functional tasks
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves:
9. Proven experience in coordinating events or exhibitions
10. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
11. Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
12. High attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
13. Confidence in dealing with clients, suppliers, and contractors
Nice-to-Haves:
14. Degree educated (not essential)
15. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and CRM systems
16. Experience with Ffair and InDesign (training provided if needed)
