Role Overview
Your wide‑ranging skills as a general radiologist form the foundation of our practice. You will deliver outstanding diagnostic services, participate in CME sessions, and engage in bedside teaching with residents and medical students year‑round. You will also contribute to Physician Quality Improvement (PQI) initiatives and support clinical education, fostering a fulfilling professional experience.
Compensation
Compensation Type: Fee‑for‑Service. Estimated Remuneration: Expect a competitive total compensation through a fee‑for‑service payment structure, plus MOCAP level 1.
Benefits and Incentives
Vacation Leave: Flexible scheduling with ample time to recharge and unwind. Vacation can be eligible for additional remuneration under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including a 14% Retention Premium and a Retention Flat Fee of $21,696.
Relocation Funding: $9,000 for moves within BC, $12,000 for moves within Canada, and $15,000 for those relocating from outside Canada.
Recruitment Incentive: $20,000, prorated for physicians working less than full time.
Other Incentives: With RCME, you’ll be eligible to receive $1,800 for up to 2 years in Cranbrook, $4,800 during your 3rd and 4th year, and $7,800 after 4 years, in addition to the Doctors of BC CME funds. Rural incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at the time of offer.
