Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people with special educational needs? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting dedicated SEN(D) Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of specialist and mainstream settings in the Wiltshire area.
About the Role:
As an SEN(D) Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored assistance to pupils with a variety of needs, including:
* Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
* Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
* Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
* Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
* Physical and sensory impairments
Your role will involve:
* Supporting learning activities and emotional development
* Assisting with personal care where required
* Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion
* Helping create a safe, engaging learning environment

* Experience working with children or young adults with SEN (in education, care, or voluntary settings)
* A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Willingness to undertake training and development
* Flexibility to work across different age groups and school settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
