Job Description
The Project \n\nAs an experienced Project Manager, you will oversee and manage various projects for the company in accordance with company objectives and procedures. You will lead the project from inception to completion and ensure that all works are completed to specification, in budget and on time. You will also manage direct labour and any contractors whilst being based on site to ensure all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.
You will work on delivering civils, earthworks, piling, drainage, rail schemes nationwide\n\nRequirements \n\nFor this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;\n\nSMSTS\nCSCS Gold/Black Card\nHNC/HND/Degree in a Civil Engineering / Construction related discipline (is ideal)\nICE / MICE / CENG\nExperienced as a Project Manager/Site Manager delivering civils / rail schemes \n\nThe Role\n\nJob Title: Project Manager\nLocation: Leeds - (willing to travel nationwide)\nWorking Setup: 3 Days in the office, 2 Days WFH when not on site \n\nDuties\n\nInvolved in the tendering side\nPre-contract planning and liaison with estimators\nPlanning, programming, and resourcing contracts\nIdentifying tender and other financial opportunities\nDelegating duties to engineering and contracts staff\nIdentifying, evaluating, and managing claims and variations\nAccepting, approving, and issuing contracts and subcontracts\nCompiling applications for payment and agreeing final accounts\nProviding quality input to regional management and planning meetings\nManaging projects to achieve financial, safety, quality, and environmental targets\nCompleting monthly improvement plan reviews with Bid and Pre - construction specialists\nMonitor, review, issue and update subcontract liabilities, applications and payments\nAssist with supply chain (suppliers & subcontractor) approvals, assessments, and performance reviews\nLiaising, negotiating, and meeting with clients, consulting engineers, surveyors, sub-contractors and others\nCompiling contract plans, safety plans, method statements, risk assessments and other instructions to contract teams \n\nFor more information or to apply please contact Alex Hartley (phone number removed)
