A logisticspanywith a strong presence across the UK, are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced andmercially focused environment.
Your new role
You will play a key role in supporting the Finance Manager with management accounts. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Reconciliation of accounts to Oracle monthly, including accruals, prepayments, and invoicing requests
2. Maintenance and reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts
3. Posting monthly charges to the P&L account
4. Creation and upkeep of management reporting spreadsheets
5. Handling AP/AR queries and resolving parked/blocked invoices
6. Providing ad hoc analysis to support financial decision-making
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have:
7. Proven experience in a similar management accounting role
8. CIMA / ACCA studier or AAT qualified or equivalent
9. Strong Excel skills and experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems
10. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
12. A proactive approach to problem-solving
